One of your high school classmates has recently encountered some difficulties in his study. Write a letter to him to

　　1)state your own view on fate 

　　2)offer possible example about setbacks(挫折) before achieving success, and 

　　3)describe positive effect of setbacks. 

　　You should write about 100 words on ANSER SHEET 2. Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Li Ming” instead. You do not need to write the address. (10 points)

I do believe that we make our own fate. As an English proverb goes, “God only helps those who help themselves.” 

The most successful people in this world did not achieve their positions without getting knocked down a few times. The Wright brothers probably crashed their “flying machine” numerous times before achieving flight. The real test of a dream or ambition comes when it is most in danger of being snuffed.
