30．The successful Tenderer on receipt of notification that his tender has 

been accepted shall commence supply and delivery without waiting for the 

execution of the formal contract. A Letter of Intent shall be issued by 

the Chairman of the Tender Board and Supplier setting out the broad features 

of the agreement pending the execution of the formal contract. The date 

of the Letter of Intent shall be the effective date of commencement of 

delivery of CHCS. 

保 修 期

31．供方同意对深舱货轮的设计和安装予以质量保证，保修期自深舱货轮在船坞交船日起，为期一年。

32．在保修期内，凡因建造和材料的质量问题而造成的缺陷，均由供方予以排除、修理和更换。

33．对于因操作不当造成的正常磨损，或因直接或间接事故造成的损失，供方不必赔偿。

GUARANTEE

31．The Supplier agrees to provide a Quality Guarantee for design and installation

of CHCS within a guarantee period of one year from the dates when the CHCS

are delivered at shipyard.

32．Within this guarantee period, all defects due to quality problems of

construction and materials shall be either removed, repaired or replaced

by the Supplier.

33．The Supplier shall not be obligated to compensate either for normal

wear and tear caused by wrong operation or for the losses due to direct

or indirect accidents.

保 险

34．如有要求，供方应将深舱货轮准备交船日期及时通知招标委员会主席，以便在A地保险公司办理货轮保险手续。货轮未办保险不得启航。
