of the Tender Board or a duly accredited representative of the Chairman 

of the Tender Board referred to as the inspector. 

29．The Supplier shall afford to the Inspector all proper and reasonable 

facilities for examining, inspecting, testing and gauging. 

Any materials which do not comply with the specifications will be rejected, 

and the Supplier will be required to replace such rejected materials with 

materials equal to the offer, free of charge, on being notified of such 

rejections. Before proceeding to execute any work, the supplier shall obtain 

the Inspector’s approval of the manner in which the supplier proposes to 

execute a portion of the work and shall furnish such drawings or information 

as the Inspector shall require. Inspection fees will be for the account 

of the Tender Board of Smith International Co. Ltd. 

交货起始日 

30．中标人一经接到中标通知，即应开始供货和交货，而不必等到正式合同的签署。在合同正式签署之前，招标委员会主席和供货方应签发一份意向书，陈述协议的概要，意向书日期即为深舱货轮交船的有效起始日。
