I just passed my TCP/IP exam (Adaptive i.e.) with a score of 666. There were two sections (intermixed). One adaptive containing from 15 to 25 questions (The more you do mistakes in a row, it will ask more questions). And the other section was nonadaptive containing 10 questions. So in the end you can get from 25 to 35 question (I got 25).
Now I have got 5 down, one to go (At last!).
Remember in the adaptive exam, there is no turning back. And a tip for you, it’s easier than the typical 51 question exam and you score less. But what the heck! Passing is all that matters Knowadays.
Here’s what I can remember:
1. Your company has two WINS servers already installed. You need to install a new WINS server to connect to the internet. How will you configure it?
a. Primary WINS
b. Secondary WINS
c. Caching only
d. Forwarder
(I guessed c. But again I ’guessed’, so be sure to check the answer)
2. Which of the following are valid IP addresses, and which are not? (A drag and drop problem, Cute!)
