Shanghai has its advantage of unique geographical position, with an area of 520 square kilometers and a population of 14 million. In recent years, more than 100 countries and regions have come to invest in Shanghai. The tertiary industries such as high science and technology, real estate, tourism and so on have become new destination of foreign investment. 

自改革开放以来，中美在各领域真诚合作并取得进步。实际上，中美存在互补关系。美国的技术，设备有助于中国现代化建设，而中国潜在的市场，丰富的人才资源对美国经济具有重要意义。
