Argu142，算了，筷子也不要了，直接用手指夹夹看吧。我觉得要破题，主要要从这两样东西上下手 



       1.correlation / link 相关性是一种很弱的关系，即使所谓的strong correlation，本质上还是弱的，因为不能说明究竟是何种关系 



       2.function 看到这个function我就愣了半天 后来决定从熟悉的“函数”概念下手，应该有一种被决定，或者是result的关系，查了一下MW和金山词霸，证实我了猜测 



       MW:5b : a variable (as a quality, trait, or measurement) that depends on and varies with   another *height is a function of age*; also : RESULT *illnesses that are a function of stress* 

金山：Something closely related to another thing and dependent on it for its existence, value, or significance:应变物：与另一决定它的存在、价值或重要性的事物密切相关的事物：Growth is a function of nutrition.长身体是由营养决定的。反正我是这么理解function了 



        稍微分析一下，的确好难，还是有问题的，请imong还有众位指点 。（关于对study以及所谓well establish的怀疑我就不包括了）This arguer try to 说服我们correlation between red meat and heart disease(RM c HD)决定 了correlation between high iron level and heart disease(I c HD)，明眼人一看就发现这个“决定”问题很大的
