此题昨天有人回答,说A选后会多了个谓语,a form of carbon is 这个is是谓语,那多了的那个谓语在哪

that....expanding是主语同位语从句。

加一个and的话，c也行 

作定语修饰carbon，不能加is，主句谓语是be used as

T14:有区别，其实可简化为to form an image that is much larger than ....如果用IT，指代的是IMAGE，但根据句意，不是IMAGE和自己比，而 是IMAGE和SPECIMEN比，所以要用THE ONE。
